CZECHS AND SLOVAKS GET TOGETHER AGAIN

EUATC members the Association of Czech Translation Agencies (ACTA) and the Association of Translation Companies of Slovakia (ATC SK) are used to collaboration. After all they joined forces last year with the national associations from Austria and Hungary to create and deliver the first Meet Central Europe conference. The success of that event has led to the latest example of working together, a joint meeting of the two associations.

ACTA and ATC SK members, including their respective Presidents, Radka Vegrichtove and Michal Kmet, gathered together in the second largest city of the Czech Republic, Brno in Moravia on 30th January. While talk inevitably turned to the next Meet Central Europe event, which is taking place in Prague (10/11 October), the principle reason for the joint meeting was a workshop on digital marketing.

Commenting on behalf of both associations Radka Vegrichtova, President of the Association of Czech Translation Agencies said:

"What I like about teamwork is that it fosters creativity and encourages improvement. Nevertheless, the outcome of our Czecho-Slovak meeting in Brno was beyond our expectations. Apart from our members learning from a digital marketing expert, we were also able to brainstorm some great ideas, desires and proposals for Meet Central Europe 2019 in Prague.“
